Voyageur Quest specializes in all kinds of Algonquin Park adventures and our Algonquin weddings are first and foremost ideal for those who love being active in the great outdoors and appreciate being at the edge of Algonquin Park in any season. Traditionally, our Algonquin weddings have been tailor-made. Each wedding has been a unique one-of-a-kind creation. We resisted the idea of offering “wedding packages” identifying as an adventure tour company rather than wedding planners in the business of large all-inclusives. Our weddings offer smaller groups big experiences – a one-of-a-kind spectacular celebration at the edge of Algonquin Park with all the adventure options that this iconic natural world playground offers. Imagine a guest experience that includes moose sightings, a floating sauna, and one last dip before dressing up for the main event!

Choose from our Wedding Adventure Selections: The Log Cabin Wedding, The Cottage Outpost Wedding, and The Island Wedding—each offering its own distinct character and experience. Our Log Cabin oozes rustic charm. Our islands frame sunrises and sunsets across water and sky. Our mainland cottages and Cottage Outpost welcome gatherings of all generations, while our floating sauna and event floathouse immerse you in the splash of the lake, the call of the loon, and the glow of the night sky.

Minimoon Island
The Algonquin Island Retreat is ideal for honeymoons. Located 1km out in Kawawaymog Lake, the island is private and has spectacular water views in all 4 directions. Canoe, fish, relax and take in both sunrise and sunsets from the two decks. Customize your stay with shopping services and or guided wilderness excursions.
"Bach" Getaway
We have several properties perfect for bringing together your "I do" crew for a pre-wedding getaway tailored to your group size, interests, and style. Our Algonquin Log Cabin comes fully guided. The Nipissing Cottage features three separate units, while the Manitou is a stand alone cottage, and both can be paired with additional bunkie options at our Canoe Outpost. Finally, Hondoo Island offers an eco-luxe escape. These spots are ideal for bringing friends together to explore the outdoors, enjoy activities like hiking, paddling, or fishing, and provide a unique backdrop for connecting and celebrating before your special day.

We were married at Voyageur Quest on May 3. We hosted 12 people for the weekend as well and everyone had an incredible time. The accommodations are comfy and cozy, the food is awesome, the staff friendly and helpful, and John made us feel relaxed and content and well taken care of so we could enjoy our buddymoon.
The floating sauna was a hit with all as was the cozy fireplace in each cottage. The log cabin we can’t rave enough about! It was the perfect venue for the rustic wedding we desired. John was amazing at organizing the guests, the food, the accommodation, and all the venue stuff which allowed me to only have to arrange the fun stuff like flowers, musicians, and the pastor. Wow what an absolutely perfect weekend at the Algonquin Outpost!! We could not have been happier with our whole experience!! The cottages exceeded our expectations and the setting was absolutely stunning! Our family and friends were so impressed and we will have such great memories from this weekend for the rest of our lives.
The floating sauna is out of this world amazing! It was the perfect and most romantic place to tie the knot and it was so refreshing to be off the grid. We are so impressed with how helpful all the staff were through the booking and planning process to the check-in. You guys are amazing and we look forward to celebrating our anniversaries at the Outpost! The officiant they recommended, David Lock was such a sweetheart and we couldn’t have been happier with his services. A huge thank you to Lesli for answering all my crazy questions and always being so friendly and accommodating.
