I know I missed the wrap up dinner, but I wanted to mention that I had an absolute blast working at Voyageur Quest this winter. My experience as a winter guide with your company has immensely improved my leadership and communication skills. As you had mentioned the job entailed a large amount of soft skills and I feel I’ve gained a vast amount of experience and improvement in this area of outdoor leadership. The job was a lot of work, but I couldn’t believe the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment after each trip. It was such a thrill to meet and share an Algonquin experience with all the different types of clients at Voyageur Quest. I can’t give enough accolades to the staff I worked with this winter. Joe, Zev, Nick, Steph, Leslie, and yourself all have such an incredible work ethic and passion for the outdoor industry and I have learned many new things from all of you. John I also couldn’t believe your incredible energy and devotion to make each trip at Voyageur Quest a special experience for the guests. It was truly inspiring. Anyways I’ll get back to you as soon as I know about my availability for September. Again, I hope things are gearing up for a great summer up there. I’d love to connect at some point. Take care.
