I’ve often considered myself to be someone who likes to experience new adventures, places and circumstances. This is now my 4th summer working for Voyageur Quest, and despite having worked extensively here, each trip seems to be different from the last, which is the cause for my annual return, other than the amazing company I find myself in. The new people I meet on every trip is the major reason each trip feels unique. Additionally I’ve spent two full summer seasons travelling the lakes near Voyageur Quest, and I could continue to do it season after season, a
nd I would still be humbled by the rich landscape and abundant wildlife time and again. I hope my knowledge and passion for the land we’ll immerse ourselves in will leave a lasting impression, along with memories that stretch smiles on our faces in recollection.
When Voyageur Quest first met Mark we were immediately impressed by his strong work ethic and openness to learning. He quickly moved from support guide to senior guide and now in his 4th season Mark possesses a fantastic balance of traits that are so important in guiding – of course skill, passion for the environment and people, a natural hospitality, strong initiative and an easy going nature that radiates and invites our customers to maximize their experience. We are thrilled to have him back for his as our Guide Training and Canoe Trip Support Manager.
