Celebrate winter with a long weekend getaway to the Algonquin Cottage Outpost. The early days of winter are a wonderful time to walk the forest trails. The soft light is ideal for photograpahers to capture the beginning of freeze up and the long shadows on the trails. head out on snowshoes, skiis or skate on the lake. Relax with a good book in front of the Outpost fireplace.

Ideal for couples, each chalet suite has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining room table, deck with BBQ.

$285 per person plus HST based on a group of 2 people.

The cost includes:
2 nights Nipissing Cottage accommodation, welcome orientation, and firewood

The cost does not include:
HST (13%), personal clothing, meals, guided excursions, transfers from Toronto

Dogsledding day trip
$200 per person per day

Snowmobile (two person) rental
$245 per machine per day

Snowshoes
$30 per person per day

Backcountry skis
$40 per person per day

Guided ski and snowshoe day trips are available with prices starting at $75 per person.

THINGS TO BRING
Towels for bathing and drying dishes. Garbage bags, cooking oils, spices, paper towels, napkins.
The fridge (and especially freezer) is quite small so we recommend bringing a cooler.

CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT
CHECK IN TIME
Please note that the check in time is 12:30pm. If you are planning on arriving at a different time - please call our office at least 30 days in advance of your rental. Please be punctual, as our guides do not live on site and travel to meet you at the scheduled check in time. Please note after 5pm a $45.00 charge will apply. **

Check out is before 10am on Day 4. A guide will be on site at 9am to sign you out and say good-bye.
