Itinerary
A refined stag in the backcountry of Algonquin, the “Stew and Brew” delivers a winter weekend of culinary adventure mixed with just the right amount of outdoor adventure and beer sampling. The backbone of this trip is the food and drink combinations put together by the beer thirsty staff at Voyageur Quest. Feast on Cassoulet, Wild Game Gumbo, Black beer Irish stew washed down with the likes of Fin du Monde, Leffe dark and London Porter.
If you love the outdoors and the above menu has your mouth watering – this adventure is for you. The feast and beer sampling is mixed with highland snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, and an option to snowmobile and ice fish. A winter stag would not be complete without a sauna and ice plunge, torch lit broomball and late night poker. Add a special memory to your adventure and take the option to dogsled, ice fish or snowmobile.
Accommodation is the Algonquin Log Cabin. Rustic, with a massive fireplace - the log cabin offers authentic natural charm amidst spectacular winter wilderness. Accommodation is double occupancy with shared indoor washrooms, as well as a sauna and shower cabin.
Book soon – the Stew and Brew adventure is limited to 12 men.
