The Journey moves through the northwest of Algonquin Park and is ideal for those looking for wildlife, stunning lakes, and tasty meals cooked over an open fire. The pace is relaxed which makes this canoe trip suitable for all abilities and experience levels. If we are lucky - we might catch site of a large moose or hear a pack of wolves.
This is a great canoe trip for any level of paddler. Learn and/or refresh paddle and portage skills along the way. The Journey is convenient with trips leaving every Monday and Friday from Toronto. Food, equipment and the services of a professional guide are all provided.

The northwest corner of Algonquin Park is famous for its rolling hills, great trout fishing and beautiful lakes. Our five-day canoe trip travels one-way, east to west, through the northwestern and more remote sections of the park.
We move at a relaxed pace through some large lakes and generally slow moving stretches of river, with lots of time for wildlife viewing, hiking and backcountry exploration.

An Algonquin right of passage. Canoeing into Algonquin for the first trout of the season is the quintessential Algonquin experience. With ice still on the shore, paddle into North Tea and reel in one of Algonquins famous lake trout.
Learn the trics of the trade from Frank Kuiack, one of Algonquin Parks last full time guides. Since 1942, Frank has guied fishing parties in Algonquin. Raised on Long Lake, one mile from Algonquins east gat, Frank began guiding at the age of 8. Frank has paddled every area in Algonquin and we are thrilled to have him accompany us on this special fishing adventure.
The adventure begins Friday with dinner and accommodation at the Algonquin Cottage Outpost. Saturday and Sunday are filled with canoeing, fishing and camping in North Tea. We return to the Algonquin Cottage Outpost by 4pm on Sunday

The Photography Safari features two nights accommodation: one night in the Algonquin Log cabin and one night camping inside Algonquin Park. The camping segment is made extremely comfortable with the help of Voyageur Quest guides who set up camp, serve beer and wine and produce first rate meals cooked over the fire.
We are delighted to have Rob Stimpson accompany this wildlife photography safari. Rob is an award-winning professional photographer, photography instructor and outdoor guide. From paddling Arctic Rivers, trekking in Africa, numerous outdoor adventures in Ontario and other regions of Canada he brings a wealth of knowledge on the natural world to his seminars.Rob has a genuine love of the wilderness and unique ability to capture the spirit of the land on film is an inspiration to everyone he teaches.
