Participate in an authentic winter expediiton at Algonquin’s north west corner. Ski across frozen lakes and snowshoe through waist deep snow. Learn winter backcountry travel skills from seasoned guides. Rest tired bones in the heated wall tent and wood fired sauna. Start and plan the adventure at the Algonquin Log Cabin comfort.
This winter expedition focuses on off-the-beaten path outdoor exploration and backcountry travel skills. While no winter experience is necessary, these line of participatory adventures are intended for active people who have some outdoor experience and are looking for authentic adventure. This is a qualifying trip for the bronze, silver or gold award.
