Voyageur Quest operates a wide range of Algonquin park canoe trips for schools, Colleges, University and outdoor clubs. No canoe trip is alike with groups ranging from 5 to over a 100. Each trip is designed with the school to ensure a perfect educational experience.
Most of our Algonquin school canoe trips focus on leadership and team building. Other programs include Algonquin Park ecology, sustainable living, traditional Canadian travel, survival, relationship building, First Nation culture, group problem solving and self-management skills. Voyageur Quest works with your school to help develop a program specifically for your student population.
From our outfitter and Canoe Outpost at Algonquin Park’s northwest corner, Voyageur Quest operates all kinds of trips for all ages including Duke of Edinburgh guided canoe trips qualifying for bronze, silver and gold levels. Duke of Edinburgh canoe expeditions focus on leadership development, sustainable living and traditional wilderness travel skills.
Our canoe outpost located at Algonquin Park access point # 1 is convenient as a base camp for packing out as well as a base for pre and post trip accommodation, showers and sauna. Smaller groups have the option of adding on nights at the Algonquin Log cabin, Cottage Outpost or Outfitter Bunkhouse which sleeps 26.
